In Washington, Odisea Burbujas makes a comeback. The 1980’s (late 1970’s) environmental programming has secured a brand new term with The Voice of America (a radio network in the U.S.). The new twist on the old guard of the TeleVisa® network environmental show is that Tirolón Mandamás aterrizó en el planeta Tierra y el “El Chisme Cachetón” fue rellenado con conscriptos de la cadena AFN (armed forces network), su lema de identificación (or call sign for those West of the Mississippi) is KCyDA, siglas que sin la letra K en su idioma original (El Espagñol) se traduce a “Contaminadores y Destructores Anónimos) Peter Punk (AKA Miller) es el productor general de la serie.

intrepid reporter Alicia Caldwell will not let this
blog lie, or provide you with alternative facts.

Details from the Local EPA (obtained from a journalist student at EPCC… ShoutOut to Jay LENO!!!) LeaD to nowhere, stonewalling from the agency and even from the Geological Sciences at EPCC (a neighbour of Phelps Dodge 79915) were skeptical of the complaints of workers at that plant. Without calling any names, the person in charge of performing safety checks (an EPA officer and cadre at EPCC) told the reporter who tried to cover the story, for the now defunct student paper El Conquistador, that the Officials at Phelps Dodge told him that nothing irregular was going on at the plant. When confronted with photographs (yes photographs—not JPEG’s) of the area inside of the refinery’s compound the inspector/instructor told the reporter that he had seen the area (from the outside) but that, again, Officials At The Plant had told him that the area was off-limits… and so he did not check. Eventually, the issue was corrected (officials told) and at least one of the complaining workers was fired from his post. Additional notes from the remaining record of that particular dead-end story reveal that the complaints started when workers were told to take their sludge covered work overalls to their homes or coin-operated laundromats and wash the Company’s Dirty Work somewhere else if the sole decrepit company provided washing machine did not fit their needs.
